Like so many other organizations and businesses, Spokane Movers is concerned with the health and safety of our employees and consumers in need of State regulated HHG moving services. For consumers who request HHG moving services, Spokane Movers will be there for them safely within current guidelines established by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and by our State leaders, all of whom are constantly updating their guidance. Be assured Spokane Movers is taking specific steps to mitigate risks to the health and safety of consumers and their employees. Here is a sampling of our measures for managing safe moves through Covid-19:
  1. State regulated moving companies have the capability to provide virtual estimates electronically rather than in-home ones; but please remember – Legitimate movers will never provide an estimate over the phone!
  2. We have taken the time to reiterate the practices of good hygiene, like frequent hand washing, providing hand sanitizer and gloves for the moving crews, as well and face coverings.
  3. Our trucks and equipment are sanitized after every move. e.g., the cab of the truck, door handles on the cab and rear door, and hand trucks.
  4. We are thoroughly sanitizing every surface and anything touched in our office at the end of every day.
  5. We interview our employees every morning upon arrival to ask if they have experienced or have been in contact with anyone that is having any Covid-19 related symptoms.
As you plan and prepare for your move, here are some steps you can take:
  1. To ensure everyone’s health and safety, if you or anyone within your household may have contracted Covid-19, or are isolating due to exposure to the virus, call us and explain the situation. We will work with you to select a more appropriate moving date.
  2. Provide the moving crew access to a sink, soap, and paper towels throughout your move. If this isn’t practical, it would be great to have hand sanitizer available.
  3. Please practice safe distancing from our employees and take the time to sanitize any surfaces they will come in contact with.
  4. Your health and the health of your family is important. If you are in a vulnerable group, over the age of 60 or have a compromised immune system, schedule your move for after the pandemic is over if it is at all possible. We will not charge cancellation fees.
  5. Purchase new moving boxes and supplies; this isn’t the time to used recycled boxes or supplies. We are not selling or accepting donations of used boxes at this time.
Feel free to give us a call with any questions regarding Covid-19.       Together we can beat this Virus!
